Set in the world of Yerengal, where dark gods have sown venality and greed, the game explores the aftermath of the Devil-god Rothgor's reign of terror. Although peace has reigned in the nation of Isilmerald, discontent is brewing, leading to a potential civil war between the capital Isilbright and the mining town of Deron-Guld.

Players can recruit a team of unique characters, each with their own stories, motivations, and abilities, to join their adventure. The game world includes locations like Isilbright, the shadowed mines of Deron-Guld, and the pavilions of the Rillow, filled with unique enemies and strange characters.

Players can choose from five playable races (Human, Dwarf, Elf, Feldegug, and Rillow) and 13 unique classes across four class groups (Priest, Outlaw, Warrior, and Wizard). Character customization includes attributes, portraits, skills, and abilities.

Combat is real-time with the option to pause and issue new orders. Players can control the battlefield using a variety of spells and skills, customizing their party with a wide range of weapons, armor, and items.

A unique Greed mechanic influences the game, where player choices can either advance the cause of the Goddess of Greed or maintain hope, directly impacting the game world.
