Kung Fu Grand King is an engaging game that transports players to an Eastern-themed fantasy world set in ancient China. You step into the shoes of Lan Mei, a renowned dragon beastfolk martial artist who once served the Emperor and ended the kung fu war. Now living a peaceful life with her panda beastfolk apprentice, Lan Mei is called back into action by her old master to thwart an evil organization's sinister plans.
The game centers around a grand tournament where Lan Mei must face off against a series of bizarre and formidable opponents. Unlike traditional JRPGs, Kung Fu Grand King features a unique combat system based on quick time events. Players must strike at their enemies' pressure points with precision and speed, or risk being counterattacked.
Outside of combat, players can explore the Jade Capital, interacting with locals to gauge their opinions on the tournament. As Lan Mei's fame grows, players must navigate the challenges of celebrity life, avoiding the ever-watchful paparazzi.
