Dome Keeper is an innovative roguelike survival miner that challenges you to protect an underground dome from relentless alien onslaughts. Between each wave of attackers, you pilot a jetpack-equipped Keeper who drills ever deeper into alien soil in search of precious minerals and hidden artifacts. How far will you tunnel before you have to race back and shore up your defenses?
As you dig, you’ll uncover resources to spend on permanent upgrades—improving your drill’s power, boosting your jetpack’s speed and fuel capacity, and unlocking new tower weapons to fend off air and ground enemies. Timing is critical: venture too deep and you risk being caught by the next wave; return too soon, and you might miss out on rare materials.
When the alarms blare, switch from miner to defender. Command turrets, deploy shields and prioritize fast or slow attackers before they breach your dome’s hull. Each successful defense grants you more resources to fuel your next expedition, but every failure brings you closer to total destruction.
Set against beautifully crafted pixel-art alien worlds and backed by a nostalgic yet futuristic soundtrack, Dome Keeper delivers a captivating loop of exploration, strategy, and survival. With each run offering new artifacts, upgrade paths and challenges, you’ll find yourself diving back in again and again to see how far you can dig—and how long you can hold the line.
The Lost Keepers Patch v5.0.2
Hey Keepers Thank you for the continued stream of feedback and bug reports! We are still working hard to fix and improve what we can, and will continue to do so. For this patch, apart from the bugfixes, we discovered that the game was overscaling difficulty quite a bit. That meant in some assignments the monsters were a bit crazy, and more importantly the rock hardness generally was too high in multiplayer. Together with the non-shared upgrades, this led to way slower gameplay than intended. This is much softer now and should feel like a way better progress, without the game outscaling your ability to dig. Also please note that we provide patches early on the staging beta branch. There is no code required to access it. It was code-protected at first, so the first time you switch to the branch you probably need to re-install the game (don't ask me why, it's a Steam thing). It won't wipe your save.
