LumenTale: Memories of Trey is a monster-collecting RPG set in the magical world of Talea, where adventure, mystery, and personal growth go hand in hand. You play as Trey, a young hero searching for the truth behind his missing memories while traveling through distinct regions and meeting the many creatures that inhabit this land.

The story is set in a world shaped by conflict. Long ago, Talea was peaceful under an emperor’s rule, but after his death without a clear heir, a civil war broke out between the northern and southern sides of the empire. To protect ordinary people and their homes, a group known as the Lumen emerged as guardians of the land. Their mission is to keep both humans and Animon safe.

Animon are strange and powerful creatures made from Anivis, a life energy that flows through the world. They can influence emotions and connect deeply with living beings. In battle, they fight alongside trainers using the Holoken, and each one has unique powers, strengths, and weaknesses. There are roughly 140 species in total, spread across 13 elemental types, which makes team building and strategy especially important.

Gameplay focuses on capturing Animon in the wild, forming a team, and using smart tactics in combat. You can challenge creatures in one-on-one encounters or take part in larger 4v4 battles. Winning depends on understanding your opponents and making the best use of your party’s abilities.

The game also includes several ways to trade Animon, making it easier to complete your collection and assemble the team you want. You can trade through the Animon Trade Station, directly with friends, or with the wider community.

Outside of battles, you can pause at the Fountain to craft useful items and prepare food. Cooking and experimenting with ingredients can help you care for and strengthen your Animon. You can also visit the Anispace, a special place where captured Animon stay when they are not in your active team. There, you can train them, customize their surroundings, and build stronger bonds with them.

Overall, LumenTale: Memories of Trey combines a heartfelt story, creature collection, strategic battles, and life-sim elements into one colorful adventure.
