Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land is a new entry in the Atelier series that follows Yumia Liessfeldt and her companions as they venture into the ruined continent of Aladiss. After a catastrophic fall of an empire that once mastered alchemy, the art is now taboo. Yumia, who discovers she descends from alchemists after losing her mother, sets out to uncover the truth behind Aladiss, the empire’s destruction, and the nature of alchemy itself.

Gameplay
- Open-field exploration: Freely traverse a large, unexplored continent and use items and actions in creative ways to open new paths and solve obstacles.
- Real-time combat: Fast-paced battles test your split-second decisions. Combat uses two attack-range types that change your skills when you switch between them. Synthesized items can be transformed into usable weapons (swords, spears, etc.), and many crafted items can be deployed repeatedly in battle.
- Synthesis and mana manipulation: Craft items by manipulating the mana within ingredients. The choice of ingredients affects the power and special effects of crafted items, which influence exploration, combat, and other systems.
- Simple Synthesis in the field: Create exploration tools and useful consumables while out adventuring.
- Base building and customization: Construct bases, place furniture, and add a Dressing Room to equip costumes and accessories. Blueprints and building options expand as you progress.

Story
Set centuries after the Aladissian Empire’s fall, the game asks why alchemy became taboo and whether it truly is "evil." Yumia’s journey is driven by memory, loss and the desire to uncover forgotten truths, meeting companions who confront their own pasts along the way.

Demo information
A free demo offers a playable portion of the opening act. Features and mechanics in the demo may differ from the final release. You can carry over demo save data to the full release only if:
- The demo save is on the same system and account you use for the release, and
- There is no existing release-version save data on that system.
Achievements cannot be earned in the demo, but story-progress achievements earned in the demo will unlock if you import that demo save into the release version.
