Letters of War is a moving 2D adventure inspired by a true family story from the developer’s grandmother. It follows Liam, a British carpenter who decides to join the war front to help protect his loved ones. Through his journey, the game explores themes of love, sacrifice, courage, and the pain of being separated from family.

Players experience some of the major battles of the Western Front during World War II, including the fighting in mainland Italy, the dangerous mountain routes of Monte Cassino, and the landings at Sword Beach in Normandy. You play as a soldier in the 8th British Army and see this part of the war in a more personal and detailed way.

At home, Liam’s little daughter Rosie waits for his return. She finds strength in the letters her father sends and in her mother’s support while coping with loneliness in the rear. Letters of War can be downloaded.
