SHINORUBI is a fast-paced bullet hell shooter inspired by classic Japanese danmaku games. Designed for fans of intense arcade action, it offers high replayability through multiple difficulty levels, arrange modes, different spaceships, online leaderboards, and achievements.

The game follows the traditional bullet hell rule: only the center of your ship is vulnerable, so survival depends on precise movement, careful dodging, and destroying enemies before their fire overwhelms you. SHINORUBI is a vertical shooter, but it is also optimized for widescreen monitors, making it stand out from many games in the genre.

SHINORUBI includes several ways to play. In Classic/Original Mode, you must clear all five levels with limited lives and credits, with five difficulty settings available, including an easier mode with auto-bomb support. Boss Rush Mode focuses entirely on boss fights across three difficulty levels. The scoring system rewards skillful play, encouraging players to survive dense enemy fire, collect stars and medals, and use bombs sparingly.

The game also features FEVER, a system that activates when the charge bar is full, canceling enemy bullets on screen and boosting your score and firepower. In addition, arrange modes add new rules and variations, such as shield use, bullet canceling, laser/shot alternation, multi-loop journeys, collectible pigs, and a super rank system that increases difficulty based on performance.

Players can choose from three pilots and their unique ships, each with distinct weapons and characteristics. SHINORUBI supports keyboard, joystick, arcade controllers, Steam Remote Play, and fully customizable controls. Built with a highly optimized engine, it supports Ultra HD visuals, uncapped frame rates, super resolution, and 8K textures.

The story takes place on the planet SHINORUBI, ruled for a thousand years by the BAÄA family, who control the powerful "R-R" substance that grants incredible longevity and power. An alliance of eight mercenaries rises to challenge their dictatorship during a once-in-a-millennium planetary singularity, bringing the battle to the capital city of Kaddin as the endless night falls.
