Greed and Darkness is a slow-paced platformer with Metroidvania-style progression. You descend into shadowy caverns beneath an abandoned factory to scavenge for valuables, but you start without any navigation gear - it’s too costly up front. Using your phone, you sell what you find and buy tools that help you probe the darkness and push deeper into the ruins.

Explore hidden rooms and collect loot, then exchange your finds for equipment such as:
- Flashlight - extends your visible area.
- Echo locator - maps out nearby walls and platforms.
- Metal detector - warns you about traps.

The game focuses on careful exploration, gradual upgrades, and using new tools to uncover previously inaccessible areas.
