Choose from distinct archetypes - from hardy warriors and shadowy hunters to warlocks and necromancers - each with their own talent trees and progression paths. Every class offers unique playstyles and advanced combat potential, so you can shape a character that fits how you like to fight.

Combat is fast and brutal: waves of common foes, tough elites and massive, earth-shattering bosses will constantly test your tactics, timing and adaptability. Night brings a separate danger: encroaching darkness erodes your sanity and makes hidden threats reveal themselves, so managing light (a torch, for example) becomes essential to survival.

The game emphasizes freedom and build variety. You can wield any weapon and mix starting skills, then modify abilities with rune-like modifiers to drastically change how skills behave - similar in spirit to systems seen in ARPGs like Path of Exile. This leads to nearly endless combinations and replayability.

Exploration rewards risk: forgotten ruins, perilous underground mazes and scattered documents hide the secrets of a lost civilization, but uncovering the truth can come at a high price. Loot follows a Diablo-style approach with randomized attributes, dozens of legendary items to find, and even a gambling mechanic for chasing powerful gear.
