Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian is an RPG about two young adults who return to their childhood town to uncover the truth behind a long-ago disappearance and to reclaim what was lost. As they work to rebuild the town and recover their pasts, they’ll encounter familiar faces from the Atelier series and new allies who join their quest.

Explore the Lantarna mainland freely, watching time pass and weather change as you gather materials and fight enemies. You can swap between Rias and Slade on the field at any time, each offering distinct actions that change how you interact with the world.

Challenge the Dimensional Paths, a multi-floor dungeon where layouts and foes shift with each run. Higher difficulty floors yield rarer ingredients and sometimes Starpearls-valuable items used for powerful equipment and synthesis.

Combat uses a strategic Timeline Command Battle system. Position up to three characters on front and back rows, coordinate Multi-actions, Item Mixes, and Link Attacks, and plan your turns to take advantage of team synergies and tactical options.

Synthesis is built around the "Gift Color" mechanic: combining ingredients transfers their traits into crafted items. Recipes can be expanded by adding specific components, and each recipe offers arrangement slots to boost effects, letting you create customized gear, consumables, and shop merchandise.

Run and grow the town by selling crafted and found items through shop management. Investing profits into rebuilding the community unlocks new reference books with additional synthesis recipes and advances the story as the town comes back to life.

The game’s cast includes Rias Eidreise and Slade Clauslyter alongside returning Atelier favorites like Razeluxe, Totori, Wilbell, and Sophie. New characters from Atelier Resleriana will also appear through post-launch content.

There are multiple editions and DLC options. The Digital Deluxe includes costume color palettes for several characters and a Head Start Item Pack with various ingredients and Starpearls. The Ultimate Edition bundles the Digital Deluxe items plus a season pass that adds bonus costumes, an "Atelier" BGM pack, two additional playable characters (Resna and Valeria), a swimsuit costume set, a recipe expansion, and a high-difficulty dungeon - with some DLC scheduled for release through January 2026.
