The Front v133 - early access
The Front is a multiplayer, post-apocalyptic sandbox set in a world torn apart by mutants, ruthless factions and a crumbling empire. You and your friends will fight tyrannical imperial forces, exiles, thugs and rebels to determine humanity’s fate. Scavenge wrecked ruins and restricted military sites, collect blueprints, raid enemy camps and secure airdrops to forge powerful weapons, equipment and technology upgrades.
In this open-ended warzone you can construct elaborate bases from hundreds of building components, then defend them with tower-defense-style traps, pressure plates, infrared sensors and full logic circuits. Pilot and customize more than 20 vehicles-including pickup trucks, logging and mining rigs, self-propelled anti-aircraft guns and attack helicopters-and look forward to a coming update that will let you assemble, upgrade and reverse-engineer your own war machines.
Beyond combat, The Front lets you recruit NPC followers with high-tech jammers, assigning them to craft resources and bolster your defenses. Build water-powered farming systems, plant and spray crops, then cook dozens of recipes to sustain your crew. Explore deserts, forests, swamps, snowfields and underground laboratories as you expand your territory, conquer rival strongholds and become an unstoppable force in a relentless, ever-evolving world.
