Life Effect throws you into a shattered world where alien invaders have nearly wiped out humanity. After years of brutal warfare, the planet’s climate has twisted under the influence of a deadly virus and alien mutagens, turning once-familiar landscapes into hostile, nightmarish realms. Survivors have hunkered down in fortified camps, mining extraterrestrial technology to craft powerful medicines, weapons, vehicles and robots. As a lone operative allied with the most peaceful strongholds, your mission is to scavenge vital resources, build advanced gear, and hold back both rival militias and otherworldly monstrosities.
