Ratten Reich is a compact real-time strategy game set in a brutal steampunk/dieselpunk world where anthropomorphic rats, mice, cockroaches and lizards fight a never-ending war. Fueled by steam and diesel engines, each faction fields ruthless weapons of destruction across three continents scarred by battle. From swampy trenches to fortified bases and wind-blasted deserts, every theater of war demands careful tactics, especially since most buildings can be destroyed for new lines of fire or improvised cover.

You’ll command four unique armies-RR (rats), FMR (mice), ERS (lizards) and RD (monitor lizards)-each with its own detailed unit models and specialized infantry weapons. Unit cards provide key stats and abilities at a glance, helping you maneuver squads, exploit terrain and deliver deadly blows. The game features graphic combat effects, including dismemberment and blood splatter, to heighten the visceral impact of every skirmish.

Now in Early Access, Ratten Reich is constantly evolving based on player feedback and a transparent development roadmap. In addition to the core strategy experience, the game package includes an extra comic book that expands the lore and atmosphere of this rat-run war.
