Roguebook is a roguelike deckbuilder where you become trapped inside an ancient book of legends from the world of Faeria. The Book, once a record of all the great myths, has developed a will of its own and now challenges you with a series of ever-changing adventures. Your task is to lead a pair of legendary heroes—each with their own unique deck of over 50 cards, personal relic, and distinctive skill tree—through a series of strategically challenging battles.

Select two heroes from six possible pairs and use their combined strengths to fend off more than 40 bosses and enemy types. The hero at the front defends while the hero at the back offers support, and by switching positions during combat, you can unleash powerful combos and synergies. As you progress, you’ll build a dynamic deck from a collection of over 200 cards, constantly evolving your strategy as no two runs are ever the same.

Roguebook’s gameplay is enriched by a variety of relics and gems—80 relics and 30 special gems are available to upgrade your cards and abilities. Each hero’s unique skill tree allows you to further customize your play style, unlocking new cards and powers along the way.

The game world itself is a work of art, with every page of the book procedurally generated to offer a fresh challenge on each playthrough. The map, composed of hexagonal tiles, is gradually revealed using magical inks that expose hidden patterns, encounters, and even traps. Throughout your journey, you’ll come across merchants, travelers, ancient ruins, and quests that provide opportunities to enhance your deck, even as danger lurks around every corner.

Designed in partnership with Richard Garfield, the creator of Magic: The Gathering™, Roguebook offers a rich experience with an average gameplay time of around 20 hours to complete the main story and hundreds of hours to unlock every secret. With 20 difficulty levels available, each victorious run brings you closer to defeating the malicious roguebook and uncovering the epic lore hidden within its pages.
