Infernax is an action-packed adventure game that follows the journey of a great knight returning to his homeland, only to find it overrun by unholy magic. As you embark on a quest to eradicate the source of this corruption, you'll encounter ruthless monsters, treacherous terrains, and challenging castle-dungeons filled with formidable bosses. The game offers a unique open world with numerous secret areas to explore, and your decisions significantly impact the storyline, leading to multiple endings.
Players can tailor their experience through a level-up system, unlocking new skills and purchasing items to aid in their quest. The game also features a cooperative mode, allowing you to play with friends or solo with the support of Cervul the squire. Infernax's world is dangerous and gory, demanding strategic choices, such as whether to help or slay characters you encounter. Every decision opens up different side quests and opportunities to acquire powerful weapons and skills.
The "Deux or Die" update introduces a new mode where you can play as Duke Alcedor alongside Cervul, either in a 2-player local co-op or a single-player hot-swap mode. This update rebalances the game, offering new tools and strategies to reclaim the land of Upel from the forces that threaten it. Infernax challenges you to make crucial choices and face the consequences, all while battling to save your homeland from a mysterious curse.
