Crimson Waves on the Emerald Sea: Amaranthine Moon is a vampiric Victorian otome visual novel about love, loss, and the weight of time. The story follows Lucie, a young woman determined to shape her own future as she turns 18 and takes charge of her family’s business. Just as she is close to finalizing a revolutionary treatment for vampirism, her business partner suddenly dies, drawing her into a mysterious death and an event from ten years earlier.

This game is a standalone sequel to Crimson Waves on the Emerald Sea, set about five years after the events of the original visual novel. You do not need to play the first game to enjoy this story.

Players can romance three different men of Lucie’s age, getting to know each of them before deciding who to pursue. The game also lets you choose whether Lucie remains human by continuing to use the cure, or gives it up and becomes a vampire again. These choices affect the story and lead to multiple endings for both the love interests and Lucie herself.

With more than 200,000 words, Crimson Waves on the Emerald Sea: Amaranthine Moon offers several hours of romantic drama, vampiric intrigue, and Victorian-era mystery in a richly imagined fantasy world.
