Under The Island is a top-down adventure game set on the colorful Seashell Island, where you play as Nia, a newcomer who quickly gets drawn into a strange and urgent mystery. Together with a local girl named Avocado, she begins investigating a frightening prophecy: the island is meant to sink into the ocean. As they explore, they uncover ancient secrets, fight odd creatures, and try to protect the home they are starting to build.

The game features classic pixel-art exploration across a lively world full of hidden paths, secrets, and connected areas. You can travel through six different regions, each with its own style, challenges, and rewards. From haunted greenhouses and icy caves to chaotic sawmills, every area offers something unique to discover. Along the way, you may take part in unusual side activities, like cooking contests, rescuing lost cats, or dealing with cereal pirates.

Combat is filled with strange enemies and creative tactics. You will face bizarre foes such as vomiting eggplants and digging wolves, while collecting artifacts, loot, and abilities that help you survive. You can also befriend animals and use treats to get their support in your journey.

Beyond the adventure and battles, Under The Island introduces a cast of charming island residents, each with their own personality and story. Building relationships with them is part of the experience, and many of them can help you as your quest unfolds.
