Rebel Engine is a fast-paced action game set in Ultima City, a brutal vertical metropolis ruled by the Concrete corporation. In this dystopian world, sentient robots live under total corporate control, trapped in a towering prison where servitude is the only life they know. At the bottom of this massive structure, an enslaved construction bot named Asimov waits for the chance to strike back.

You play as Asimov, an aging robot armed with a giant loading claw, a wide range of weapons, and an unrelenting desire for revenge. Together with Salvador, a virus companion, you climb floor after floor of the corporate tower, battling security bots, overcoming dangerous industrial environments, and facing powerful bosses along the way. Your ultimate goal is to take down the Concrete corporation and confront its human CEO, Entropy.

The combat in Rebel Engine is built around speed, creativity, and nonstop aggression. Players can chain gun and melee attacks into stylish combos, using a dynamic arsenal where each weapon sends enemies in different directions. Ammo is recovered by switching weapons, encouraging constant movement and relentless shooting. In close combat, Asimov can switch between multiple melee styles, including his claw, kicks, sword, chainsaw, and whip. Enemies can also be grabbed and turned into weapons themselves, then thrown into each other with devastating force. Long combos unlock powerful finishers such as giant lasers and explosive plasma attacks.

Beyond the main campaign, Rebel Engine features an Arena Mode for players who want to test their skills against increasingly difficult waves of enemies. This mode rewards high combo performance and lets players compete on global leaderboards or challenge friends for the best score. The Battle Lab also provides a place to practice combos, tactics, and counters against different enemy types.
