Master Detective Archives Build 15318904

Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE is a dark fantasy detective action game from the creators of the Danganronpa series. Set in a rain-soaked city under the control of a powerful megacorporation, the story follows trainee investigator Yuma, who teams up with a Shinigami and a roster of Master Detectives from around the world-each gifted with unique supernatural abilities-to unravel a web of unsolved mysteries.
Gameplay alternates between exploration and supernatural combat. In the city’s Kanai Ward you play as Yuma, questioning locals and examining crime scenes to gather "Solution Keys" - pieces of evidence needed to advance each case. Partner detectives contribute their special "Forensic Fortes" (abilities such as Postcognition and Disguise) to uncover hidden clues and witness accounts. As an investigation deepens, the case manifests as a hostile "Mystery Labyrinth": a surreal dungeon filled with traps and gimmicks that you must navigate using the Solution Keys you’ve collected. Inside the labyrinth you face "Mystery Phantoms" in fast-paced Reasoning Death Matches, attacking with a Solution Blade to break through enemies and expose the truth.
Beyond the main plot, you can find Memory Shards around the ward to unlock secret interactions between Yuma and the other detectives, take on substories, and fulfill requests to help townspeople. The "Plus" edition adds enhancements such as 4K support and improved performance, a new gallery to view cinematics and music, and five extra substories spotlighting different Master Detectives (Ch. Desuhiko: Charisma Killed the Cat; Ch. Fubuki: Fubuki’s Luckiest Day; Ch. Halara: Raining Cats & Dog; Ch. Vivia: The Near-Death Detective; Ch. Yakou: Thank You, My Detective).
A Lucid-Noir Limited Edition is available from Spike Chunsoft while supplies last, including a Steam code, SteelBook, a 6.5" Shinigami plush, the Noise of Neon CD, and the Halara Nightmare novel. A language patch released October 1, 2024 added support for English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish; the interface is also available in Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese, with Japanese audio.
