You begin as a Doll with no memories in a ruined, crumbling city. The Royal Palace lies ahead, but the streets are patrolled by hostile automatons and arcane golems. To reach the palace you must overcome powerful guardians, each defending a critical point on your journey.

Combat revolves around clever use of magic cards, artifacts, and abilities. Every fight asks you to plan your plays, read enemy behavior, and chain potent combos to prevail.

Before each run you pick one of twelve relic-like artifacts that define your playstyle. Each artifact grants specific status effects, upgrades your starting cards, and adds themed cards to your deck. They also shape the rewards you receive, so victories tend to grant cards that reinforce the artifact’s strategy, opening distinct tactical options with each choice.

A mysterious old book hints at forgotten powers connected to the twelve relics and the calamity that shattered the city, suggesting a lost ritual is behind the devastation. Along the way, allies such as Claviger - an owl-masked automaton - and their leader, the Emerald Oracle, can lend their support as you push toward the city’s heart.
