ArcaneOutpost - This is a strategy game that combines tower defense and MOBA elements. In the game, you assume the role of a wise mage and guardian adept in the arcane arts. Your power is expressed through the establishment of arcane outposts in treacherous, uninhabited frontiers. Faced with relentless waves of enemies, your ultimate goal is to use the Arcane Core to purify the entire region.

Strategically, you must balance investments between building production and defensive capabilities while choosing from various building upgrade tiers and enhancement abilities to overcome different battles. On the battlefield, you command guardians who wield potent arcane powers. Each guardian features four distinct skills, each with multiple modes that can be switched to perform unique functions.

The game deviates from traditional real-time strategy by dividing play into a preparatory phase for decision-making and a combat phase for enemy resistance. This design allows you to focus on strategy during building phases and skill deployment during battles without interruptions.

The basic map mode offers a straightforward challenge, but for those seeking greater difficulty, mutation factors can be activated to strengthen enemy forces while reducing your own advantages, paving the way for higher scores.

Development Plan:
During Early Access (EA), the game will include:
• 3 maps with missions
• 3 playable heroes, each with 11 skill variants
• 5 types of turret branches
• 5 types of barracks branches
• 24 types of enhancement options
• Dozens of enemies and their variants
• 3 bosses with unique mechanics

We plan to release the official version 3-4 months after EA, which will expand the content to include:
• 6 maps with missions
• 5 playable heroes, each with 11 skill variants
• 8 types of turret branches
• 8 types of barracks branches
• More than 40 types of enhancement options
• An increased variety of enemies
• Additional bosses with unique mechanics

Content from the official version will gradually be updated in the EA version, so stay tuned for ongoing improvements.

A Word from the Developers:
During the EA phase, ArcaneOutpost is a low-budget indie project developed by two creators using Unreal Engine 5. Although our aim is to provide the best gaming experience possible from the start, constraints in development costs and time mean that many of the 3D models, animations, and sound effects are sourced from the Unreal Marketplace without extensive adjustment by professional art staff. Some features we originally envisioned—such as a two-player online mode and a random Mutant mode—were ultimately removed from our planning. As a result, the current Early Access release represents only half of our ambitious vision. Future development will be guided by the community's support and the game's sales performance.
