Kainga: Seeds of Civilization is a unique village-building game with roguelite elements. Instead of lengthy city-building sessions, the game is played in short runs lasting 30 to 90 minutes. During these runs, you complete challenges to unlock new maps, Thinkers, and unusual technologies. As the Thinker, you explore the world to find inspiration and discover new technologies to help your village grow. Success depends on choosing the right technologies that suit your village's needs, the environment, and your playstyle.

In Kainga, you must build, adapt, and survive. Use your knowledge to lead your tribe, learn from trial and error, and develop a thriving village while protecting your Thinker. Each Thinker has unique strengths and weaknesses, offering different playstyles. You'll encounter mysterious and dangerous creatures throughout Kainga's diverse biomes. Learn to coexist with them, tame them, and use their abilities to enhance your economy or aid in battles against rivals.

Explore the game's eight unique biomes, each with its own environment and challenges. Lead your tribe through barren deserts, tropical islands, icy mountains, lush jungles, and other unusual landscapes. Even if you fail, death is not the end. Learn from your mistakes and start anew in a different world. Use Karma between games to unlock new biomes, technologies, and Thinkers, expanding your knowledge and increasing your chances of future success.
