Every run you pick a guardian to lead your forces - each one plays differently and unlocks distinct tactics, gear, and progression. Recruit from a roster of over 50 unique units - from vampires and dinosaurs to crossbowmen and spellcasters - and experiment with synergies (ice casters who freeze foes for ranged damage, knights charging ahead while trebuchets rain rocks, and more).

City-building and resource management are central. Space for structures is limited, so you’ll make meaningful choices about what to build and when. Resource nodes and their placement change every run, forcing you to weigh short-term needs versus long-term production: timber for siege engines, stone for sturdier walls, or gold to quickly upgrade your best fighters. Improve gathering and production methods over time and keep your warriors fed with farms, fishing huts, and mills so they grow stronger after each victory.

Exploration is rewarded - the world hides new heroes, quests, relics, and recruits, and surviving longer grants access to deeper strategic options. Progress carries over between attempts: discoveries, unlocked guardians, relics, and other rewards become available in future runs, letting you approach the challenge with new starting choices.
