The Wild Age is a gentle micromanagement strategy game with tower defense mechanics designed to provide a calm, unhurried experience. You play as a newly appointed ruler whose task is to establish fully independent settlements across several islands. Your sole currency is coins, which you spend to assign villagers to various roles—building and repairing structures, harvesting materials, farming, hunting, and standing guard—while fending off nightly goblin attacks. Completing each island’s main objectives unlocks special rewards that ease your progress through the campaign.

Although inspired by the Kingdom series, The Wild Age is more than a straightforward 3D remake. It builds on the original concept by introducing new features and deeper customization, creating an evolved strategic experience that remains true to the spirit of the source material.
