Randomax is a fast-paced rogue-lite vertical shooter that leans into chaos and creativity. The setting is light and pulpy: in 2050 the Sepulch Space Archipelago is overrun by the Randomax Pirates, and a shipping company called ARGO EXPRESS offers an odd bargain-use their misrouted stock to take back the islands. You play as one of three distinct women pilots: Cosmi (Blue Cosmic), the hot-blooded cop; Urara (URARARA★Recital SP), the towering cyber-idol who literally is her ship; and Dariha (Barra 35T), the aristocratic savior in ragged finery. Each character has her own ship traits and a unique stage and ending, which encourages replaying to see all the story beats.

Gameplay emphasizes adaptability and experimentation over rote memorization. The rogue-lite structure, combined with six difficulty levels and nine stages (six core stages plus one character-specific stage each), means runs range from casual rocket-fun to intense, highly tactical encounters. The random equipment system can produce wildly different playstyles-sometimes delightfully overpowered, sometimes hilariously awkward-but that volatility is the point: you win by making the best of what luck hands you.
