Firefighting Simulator: Ignite - Year 1 Edition puts you in the boots of a U.S. firefighter working across a large Midwestern city. Respond to emergency calls, race to scenes in realistically recreated Rosenbauer trucks, and work with up to three friends in co-op or with an NPC crew in single-player. The game uses Unreal Engine 5 to render real-time, dynamic flames, heat and smoke that react to your actions.

Missions cover a wide range of dangers - trapped civilians, electrical fires, flammable liquids, grease fires, backdrafts, flashovers and explosions - and force you to apply authentic firefighting methods. Use real-world tools (hoses, saws, Halligan bars, axes, extinguishers and more), choose the correct extinguishing agents, ventilate to control fire spread, cool overheated materials, cut through obstacles and manage airflow to avoid catastrophic events.

Between calls you can return to the fire station hub to train, inspect and customize a fleet of licensed vehicles, and pick your next assignment. Build a career by choosing from multiple characters and outfit sets, and extend replayability with full mod support - create, share and download custom missions via the Mod.io hub on PC and consoles.
