In TFC, choosing the right location for your settlement-ideally near rich, arable land-is your first strategic decision. Your farms don’t just feed villagers; any surplus accelerates population growth and generates Knowledge Points. These points unlock village improvements, new technologies, defensive structures or even Wonders. But be warned: if your fields are burned or pillaged, your economy can collapse, stalling both growth and research.

From the very first moments of a match you have multiple paths to victory. You might focus on rapid expansion and technological dominance, build a mighty army to conquer rivals, or race to complete a Wonder. Adaptation is key: react to enemy tactics by spending Knowledge Points on tailored upgrades, whether that means bolstering your walls, training specialists or accelerating your resource production.

You begin in the Ancient Age with all players on equal footing. As your settlement prospers, you’ll choose one of three Bronze Age civilizations, each offering distinct units and bonuses that shape your later strategy.
