Eternal Strands is a third-person fantasy action adventure that fuses ARPG-style elemental magic with open-zone exploration and true player freedom. You take on the role of Brynn, a young Weaver whose magical cloak-the Mantle-channels fire, ice and telekinetic power. Every battle and every corner of the world is fully interactive: you can hurl burning logs at enemies, freeze a dragon’s wings mid-flight, rip boulders from the ground or even set off wildfires that spread across the landscape. There are no preset builds or scripted solutions-only your own creativity, quick thinking and raw power.

Recent free updates have expanded the adventure even further. The PARASITE Cosmetics pack, created in collaboration with Suda51 and Tadayuki Nomura of Grasshopper Manufacture, adds a striking Gallant heavy armor set plus new recipes that reskin the Kinetic Bow, Frost Sword & Shield and Flame Two-Hander. Under the hood you’ll find enhanced visuals thanks to Intel XeSS-FG and XeSS-XeLL support, NVIDIA DLSS 4, AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 and a slew of bug fixes and quality-of-life tweaks.

Shortly after came the Stargazer DLC, made with Square Enix’s Creative Studio III and artist Yusuke Mogi. This update introduces The Ark of the Nova, a powerful aerial Epic enemy wielding all three magic types, along with an elegant new armor set and three additional weapon reskins. You’ll also discover Starlight Cape, a brand-new map full of vertical challenges, an Elite Ember Servant minion and fresh lore. Brynn learns a drone-based ability inspired by "The Astrologer," and a new Story Mode offers a more relaxed difficulty. Additional features include an armor-dyeing system, a Tips & Tricks hub at Oria’s Station and further combat, movement and UI improvements.
