Scavland is a brutal, unforgiving survival game set in a world shattered by war and a creeping, mysterious Mist. You take on the role of a Vulture-an underfed scavenger eking out an existence by exploring ruined landscapes, fending off mutants and raiders, and hunting for supplies. Every step outside a safe zone brings fresh threats: scarce ammunition, weapons that can jam, invisible radiation, and the ever-encroaching fog that warps body and mind. Progress is slow and methodical-true survival means thinking twice before every shot and weighing each risk against potential reward.

- Hidden Ruins - Venture off the beaten path to discover subterranean bunkers, war-torn settlements, mutant-infested woods, poisonous swamps and other forgotten pockets of danger-and wealth.
- Trade and Contracts - Barter scavenged goods or accept specific jobs from town factions to earn better rewards. Building a reputation by doing small favors can open doors to rarer supplies and allies.
- Dynamic Faction System - Navigate the fragile social order of Zalesye, home to rival groups like the brutal Gunners, elusive Mudlarks, the political Rada, and more. Your choices will determine who trusts you-and who wants you dead.

Story and Quests
Your journey begins after a near-fatal encounter with a mysterious scavenger from the fabled East, a place rumored to be free of the Mist’s wrath. Driven by questions about your attacker and the true nature of the Mist, you follow the perilous RO-29 highway toward the promise of safety. Along the way you’ll pick up main-story missions, organic side quests from NPCs, and procedurally generated tasks that ensure each playthrough tests your wits and survival instincts anew.

- Mutants - Twisted abominations born from animals, plants or even people.
- Bandits - Desperate survivors willing to kill for your gear.
- Mist & Radiation - Invisible killers that sap health or drive you insane if you linger too long.

Looking Ahead
Scavland’s world will grow even stranger and more dangerous in future updates. Planned expansions include new regions beyond Lake Pavlie and the Svarog Factories, additional factions (pilgrims, distant merchants, rival Vulture clans), and deeper explorations of the Mist’s time-bending mysteries.
