Urge – a tense survival sandbox set in a wasteland corrupted by a mysterious drug substance and its ever‐growing poisonous fog. You awake at the scene of a car crash to discover a once‐vibrant world now teeming with mutated creatures and creeping clouds of toxic mist that react to your every move. Each decision—from shooting a foe in the head to running down a highway in a fog‐guzzling vehicle—risks raising the fog level and unleashing new horrors upon you.

In Urge, the hazardous fog is both a constant threat and a resource. It punishes reckless shortcuts by spawning deadly enemies, triggering environmental hazards, and accelerating your character’s “urge” for more exposure. You must scavenge for supplies, chop down trees or salvage plywood to build shelters, and lay traps to protect your safe zones. Crafting and base construction range from simple barricades in an abandoned house to elaborate fortresses fashioned from timber and metal.

Combat blends firearms, melee weapons, and improvised throwables against junkie‐like monsters and other grotesque beings. Exploration yields hidden vehicles that run on the fog‐derived fuel known as “piss,” letting you cross barren highways and reach distant settlements. Scavenge parts, combine items in inventive ways, and always keep one eye on the atmospheric gauge—the rise and fall of the fog dictate when it’s time to hunker down or press onward.

Urge’s strengths lie in its atmospheric world‐building and the weight of every choice.
