WAR RATS is a hand-drawn, side-scrolling shooter that blends tower defense and RPG elements into a rat-filled 2D gore-fest. Inspired by brutal ’90s sprites and classics like Kingdom: New Lands, you command an army of rats to reclaim Ratopia from TechnoRat-the all-consuming cyborg rat consciousness. Fight through procedurally influenced districts, build defenses, and upgrade your Ratineer in fast-paced, bloody battles.
