The Monster Breeder puts you in charge of one of the Empire’s most prestigious monster-breeding houses. Your mission is to create powerful hybrids, train them for the arena, and amass wealth and fame for their noble owner. From the moment a hatchling emerges, you’ll have access to magical artifacts, potions, runes, blood infusions and even organ transplants to shape each creature’s strengths. But be careful: excessive meddling can trigger abomination illness, shortening your monster’s lifespan and sidelining it from combat.

As your beasts grow, you’ll send them into a variety of arenas—some non-lethal sparring grounds, others brutal, to-the-death battles. You can bolster your team with hired warriors, archers or mages, and exploit each arena’s unique terrain and hazards. Meanwhile, your breeding program relies on expeditions to discover new mammal, reptile and insect species, each carrying at least one valuable trait. Crossbreeding passes on traits at random, and special feeds or crafted items can further enhance desirable abilities.

Behind the scenes, you’ll manage a growing base: hire alchemists and blacksmiths to craft powerful potions, weapons or magical scrolls; expand and upgrade buildings; and keep your coffers healthy—though loans with punishing interest rates lurk if you overspend. Quests promise rare rewards but may tempt you down darker paths, forcing tough moral choices.
