Oswald, the worried innkeeper of the Dancing Pig Tavern, has lost touch with his regulars and calls on you—an outsider who has nothing left to lose—to discover why people are vanishing. As you step into the devastated countryside, every ruined keepsake and shadowed ruin hints at a creeping evil.

Hack and slash your way through quests that appear in a fresh, unpredictable order each time you play. Combat takes inspiration from Souls-style action but is streamlined for quick, satisfying encounters. Wield swords, axes, polearms or maces against monsters, twisted beasts and towering bosses. Although the mechanics are easy to grasp, there’s depth in choosing stats and weapons to create countless unique builds.

Scavenge, buy or find a wide assortment of armor pieces, weapons and magical charms to enhance your chosen playstyle. Item drops and shop inventories are randomized, so no two runs are alike and each decision shapes your path through the world’s ruins.

Bring your custom hero to life with an extensive appearance editor: pick races, hairstyles, facial features and scars to reflect a battle-hardened veteran or an elegant elven scout. In true roguelike fashion, death isn’t the end but an invitation to forge a new champion and face the curse once more.
