Isle of Arrows is a unique blend of genres that introduces a strategic puzzle element into the classic tower defense formula. Each round, you'll draw a tile and carefully decide where to place it to fortify your island.

Roguelike Structure:
Every playthrough is a fresh experience with randomly generated tiles, enemies, rewards, and events. As you progress through various campaigns, you'll unlock new elements to appear in your game, keeping the challenge alive and unpredictable.

Modes and Modifiers:
The game offers a variety of modes—including Campaign, Gauntlet, and Daily Defense—each further enriched by different guilds, game modifiers, and challenges. These features combine to offer endless replayability and strategic diversity.

Gameplay:
- Each round begins by placing a randomly drawn tile on your island. If you need more time to decide, spends coins allow you to skip a tile.
- Once you’re satisfied with your layout, start the enemy wave and watch your defenses come into action.
- Different types of tiles serve specific functions: Towers attack invaders; Roads construct the pathways for enemy movement; Flags extend the island, giving you extra space; Gardens provide extra coins; Taverns boost adjacent archery towers; and many more unique tiles offer their own advantages.

While the order and type of tiles are randomly generated, you’re guaranteed a set amount of towers, paths, and buildings every X tiles. This “luck of the draw” mechanic, reminiscent of board games, sets Isle of Arrows apart and challenges you to adapt your strategy constantly.

Isle of Arrows is developed by Gridpop, a one-person game studio led by Daniel Lutz, a seasoned game industry veteran known for his work as Creative Director for Hitman GO and Lara Croft GO at Square Enix Montreal.
