Samurai Bringer is a roguelite action game where each playthrough offers a new experience with ever-changing levels. In the game, you play as Susanoo, a powerful deity who once challenged Yamata-no-Orochi to save Kushinada from being sacrificed. However, Susanoo was defeated, and his divine power was stripped away. Now, cast down to the land of Nakatsukuni, he must battle countless samurai and demons summoned from across space and time to regain his lost strength.

Players can mix and match various combat techniques to create their own unique fighting style. By defeating the advancing hordes, you can obtain Combat Scrolls that offer techniques like slice, thrust, and jump, which can be equipped to alter your attack methods. You can also create custom loadouts with these techniques, allowing for a personalized combat experience with moves ranging from spinning slashes to fire attacks and intricate combos.

The game features over 100 legendary Japanese warriors, including historical figures like Oda Nobunaga, Date Masamune, and Sanada Yukimura. Defeating these warriors rewards you with their weapons and armor, which come with various status-boosting effects. Wearing this armor not only provides a tactical advantage but also adds a stylish flair to your character.

Samurai Bringer's levels are procedurally generated, ensuring that enemy placements and types vary with each playthrough, along with the Combat Scrolls you can collect. Even if you fall in battle, you don't lose everything, allowing you to continue building your loadout and fighting style.
