The story hints at a grim cycle of retribution: children are burdened with the karma of their parents’ sins, destined to carry a twisted cross. As the narrative unfolds, you’ll be drawn into a dark festival beneath an endless black sky, where whispered challenges and fated encounters provoke questions: What do the enigmatic men want? What dreams drive these girls to fight? And ultimately, what is at stake in their shadowy confrontation?

Adding depth to this haunting tale are its distinct characters, each brought to life by full Japanese voice acting from seasoned professionals. Among them are Kikyo Hirosoma, gentle and naive yet caught in a troubled relationship with her “sibling” Shinku Hirosoma, who is known for her perpetual irritation; and two mysterious men, Awasumi Yamaga and Tsukishiro Tsukishiro. Awasumi is a curious figure—wrapped in bandages and speaking in an old-fashioned manner, yet surprisingly adept at everyday tasks—and Tsukishiro, with his long hair and clumsy charm, who struggles even with basic household chores. Their peculiar bond adds layers of intrigue and subtle humor to an otherwise grim setting.
