In Inch By Inch you take on the role of a scientist who is rapidly shrinking, and every second counts. Your mission is to race against time to locate the necessary formulas and ingredients required to create an antidote—and if you delay, you might become too small to operate the very lab equipment you need.

The gameplay revolves around exploring a lab where every formula is connected to a specific machine. These machines generate new ingredients that you can either combine with other components or use as one of the three essential ingredients needed for the antidote. To secure victory, you must gather all three key elements and insert them into the antidote processor before your size prevents further action.

Adding to the challenge is the fact that processing ingredients eats up valuable time. This forces you to balance your focus between rearranging your workspace for future needs and hustling to find missing components. As a result, every game session offers a distinct experience thanks to randomly generated formulas and item locations.

Inch By Inch features four different difficulty settings, including a customizable option, so you can tailor the challenge to your own pace. There’s also a high score system to track your best results and fastest completions, as well as a Sandbox Mode that lets you freely explore the lab and experiment with various settings.

The game was born out of a game jam project, brought to life by a dedicated team of two developers and one tester. After refining the concept and gameplay, the team decided to self-publish on Steam. Whether you're rearranging your lab, uncovering secret formulas, or managing your shrinking predicament, Inch By Inch promises a unique and engaging challenge with every playthrough.
