Mr. Prepper plunges you into a bleak, oppressive world where the threat of nuclear war-and a totalitarian regime-looms large. You play as an everyman preparing for the worst: digging out a hidden bunker, crafting essential machines and facilities, trading with suspicious neighbors and scavenging derelict sites for scraps of hope. Everything you do is a balancing act. You must juggle basic needs like food and power, keep the secret police at bay, and gradually assemble the parts of a mysterious escape device.

Gameplay
- Base building: Carve out tunnels, expand rooms and install workshops, greenhouses, water pumps and more. Each addition brings new possibilities-and new risks of discovery.
- Crafting and automation: Advance from hand tools to conveyor belts, automated presses and even small vehicles. Efficient layouts and clever use of resources make the difference between success and government bust-in.
- Trading and exploration: Interact with colorful NPCs who each have their own motives. Some will barter seeds or blueprints, others will ask you to complete clandestine missions. Roam aboveground to loot abandoned factories or venture into guarded zones for rare components.
- Stealth and strategy: The Agency’s patrols grow more vigilant as your underground empire expands. Distract or bribe officers, hide your contraband and keep your plans under wraps if you want to stay free.

Story and Atmosphere
Darkly comic pixel art sets a tone that is part retro survival sim, part political allegory. Sarcastic radio broadcasts and propaganda posters paint a chilling portrait of life under constant surveillance. As you befriend fellow dissidents, side quests shed light on the regime’s cruelty-and on the strength of ordinary people pushing back.
