Highly Likely is a surreal single-player 2D side-scrolling adventure that centers on the amusing and somewhat naive Mikola, a man determined to save his humble Ukrainian homestead. Set near the Polish border on an ordinary farmstead, Mikola's life takes a perilous turn when his dreams seem on the brink of collapse. With everything to lose, he seizes a dangerous opportunity involving an abandoned oil pipeline and embarks on a risky venture using makeshift, moonshine-inspired contraptions.

The game intertwines elements of historical moonshining from the Prohibition era in the US with a distinctly Ukrainian twist. Over the course of more than five hours of gameplay, players will explore a richly detailed world full of hand-drawn landscapes that shift between 23 different day and night locations. Along the way, Mikola encounters a diverse cast of over 30 characters and engages with more than fifty interactive items while traveling in various vehicles—from a modern bicycle to a steam locomotive.

The story unfolds in a series of acts that blend humor with tragedy. A storyteller guides players throughout the adventure, narrating off-screen events, voicing the characters’ thoughts, and bringing the dialogues to life. This narrative approach deepens the emotional connection to Mikola’s plight and immerses players in his unpredictable and thrilling journey.
