Flesh Eaters is a retro-inspired single-player real-time strategy game that plunges you into a zombie-infested world. In this game, you must scavenge for resources to reinforce your defenses, craft and upgrade weapons and armor, and navigate a city under siege by the undead. The gameplay centers on survival in a hostile urban environment where zombies lurk around every corner.

The game offers a deep progression system involving survivor classes with unique abilities. You can choose from three different classes: the Soldier, who specializes in equipping a variety of weapons and armor; the Medic, capable of healing and fighting at close range; and the Engineer, who can construct turrets and traps while wielding melee weapons. Each class features three distinctive skills, allowing you to tailor your approach to the challenges ahead.

Managing your base is crucial, as you must build barricades and fortifications to protect your survivors from relentless hordes. As your team levels up, you can enhance their stats, making them more resilient against the ever-looming threat of zombies. Strategic resource gathering and timely upgrades are key to fending off increasingly dangerous enemies.

It is important to note that Flesh Eaters comes with two known, unfixable bugs. Firstly, the game does not save equipment—although this is mitigated by the option to play through a session that lasts under an hour. Secondly, equipping the Engineer with the melee katana can cause the game to crash. Despite these issues, the game offers an engaging, action-packed experience for fans of retro strategy and zombie survival genres.
