After mastering the campaign, players can challenge friends or foes in local or online multiplayer. Ponpu offers three chaotic game modes: Coin Chase, Paint Battle, and the classic Deathmatch.

Features of Ponpu include a fresh take on a classic game concept, an epic campaign with massive bosses, and hectic 4-player multiplayer with three crazy game modes. In Deathmatch, the last Ponpu standing wins. In Coin Steal, players must hoard the most coins before time runs out. In Paint Battle, players paint the town in their chosen color.
