In Outward, you play as an ordinary traveler who must navigate the dangers of the world. You will need to hide or defend yourself from threatening creatures, endure harsh environmental conditions, protect against diseases, ensure you get enough sleep, and stay hydrated. Embark on dangerous expeditions across untamed lands to reach new cities, undertake various missions, and discover hidden dungeons filled with formidable enemies.

The game can be tackled solo or in co-op mode, either locally or online. To survive in the dazzling yet deadly world of Aurai, you must be cunning, clever, and prepared. Devise diverse strategies to defeat your foes and manage your basic needs, sharing your journey with a friend.
