TetherGeist is a heartfelt precision platformer about Mae, a young Mountain Shaman who must set out on a coming-of-age pilgrimage. Unlike other shamans, her spirit can only travel within the limits of a tether, so she cannot rely on astral projection to take her where she needs to go. Instead, she must face the journey step by step, overcoming obstacles the hard way.

The game focuses on challenging but rewarding platforming, making it approachable for beginners while still offering plenty of depth for players who want a tougher experience. As you progress, you unlock seven different Azae abilities that change how Mae’s spirit interacts with the world, opening up new ways to move and explore.

TetherGeist also encourages curiosity and exploration. Players can uncover secrets, hidden routes, and treasures scattered throughout the world. There is no combat, no power-up system, and no skill tree, keeping the experience centered entirely on precise movement and mastery. It also includes timed runs for speedrunning fans, along with frequent checkpoints that make experimentation and learning less punishing.

Beyond the gameplay, TetherGeist tells a story about community, difference, and growing up, giving the adventure a warm and emotional core.
