Trek is an action-adventure game set in a broken world where the sky has fallen and torn everything apart. Once, all creatures lived peacefully side by side, but after the disaster many of them became hostile. The main character is a father who lost his family to a powerful being, and now he is driven by revenge against the one responsible. Because of what happened, he treats nearly every creature he meets as an enemy.

During the journey, he encounters different people who may join or support him on his mission, even though there are not many warriors left in this world. Players can explore varied locations across the world of Trek, experiment with lots of creative combat combinations, and use a large and constantly growing selection of items. The game also features major enemies that reveal more of the story, as well as horses with special abilities that can be unlocked and used along the way.
