Radiolight v29.10.2025

Radiolight v29.10.2025

Radiolight is a moody, slow-burning mystery set in the fog-shrouded town of Ashwood Creek in September 1985. You play as Ethan, a local police officer drawn into a missing-person case that quickly peels back layers of the town’s past and reveals something unnerving in the nearby national park. The game leans hard into atmosphere: rustling pines, low mountains, and an uncanny silence that makes every crackle on the radio feel important.

The radio is the game’s standout mechanic. Tuning into strange signals and otherworldly broadcasts becomes both a tool and a threat - some frequencies guide you, others lure you into danger. Armed only with a radio and a walkie-talkie, you’ll follow transmissions, listen for echoes of the past, and try to separate truth from deception. The voice of Robert, your childhood friend and the town’s chief of police, acts as a guide and anchor, but as the story deepens you’ll question who can be trusted.

Visually, Radiolight embraces a stylized 1980s aesthetic. The graphics capture a nostalgic, timeless vibe that complements the game’s eerie natural environments. Exploration is rewarding: the national park is full of winding trails, foggy valleys, and secluded clearings where clues - or threats - hide just out of sight. The pace favors tension and discovery over action, making it a good fit for players who enjoy atmospheric walking sims and slow-burn supernatural stories.

Narrative and character work are central. The game builds suspense through fragmented memories, radio logs, and conversations, gradually revealing both the town’s secrets and more about Ethan himself. The writing leans into classic small-town horror tropes while adding some unique audio-driven twists that keep the investigation compelling.

Radiolight was created by solo developer Krystof Knesl, and the ambition of the project shows: a focused, atmospheric experience that mixes exploration, radio-based puzzles, and narrative discovery. If you enjoy creepy, character-driven mysteries with a strong sense of place, Radiolight is worth trying.

Radiolight can be downloaded - if you like atmospheric, audio-forward mysteries and quiet exploration, this one’s worth a look.
