Sparta 2035 is a tactical squad-commander game set in an alternate-future Africa. The radical organization Daamat has seized control of vast territories, and a beleaguered president turns to the elite mercenary unit "Sparta." You play as the commander: lead your four-man fireteam on dangerous missions, manage an improvised base aboard a seized cargo ship, run reconnaissance and contracts, negotiate with factions, and make decisions that carry long-term consequences for the region.

The game splits into two complementary layers: tense turn-based tactical combat and strategic base management. On the tactical side you control a four-person squad through varied objectives - hostage rescues, capturing enemy leaders, clearing fortified positions, planting explosives and more. Skirmishes are dynamic, typically lasting 25-40 minutes, and lean into an "old-school" action spirit: archetypal characters, cinematic flair, over-the-top shootouts and plenty of environmental flavor and easter eggs.
