Alien Horizon is a sci-fi survival city-builder set on a harsh alien world. With Earth destroyed, humanity sent sleeper ships carrying the last survivors to nearby candidate planets - but this world is far more hostile than expected. Your task is to keep the remnant of humanity alive and thriving against the odds.

You start with a single sleeper ship holding 1,000 people and must expand it into a working settlement. Plan and construct power plants, housing, infrastructure and production facilities to meet the colonists’ needs. Organize public transport, enact laws and provide health, entertainment and other services to keep individuals - each simulated with their own needs and behaviors - content and productive.

Resources are scarce and must be managed carefully. Explore the surrounding terrain to locate the rest of your fleet’s supply ships and survey deposits you can exploit. Build complex production chains to manufacture a wide variety of goods - the game models 86 distinct resources with realistic recipes - and set up logistics hubs and storage so materials reach the places that need them.

This release is a free preview alpha that functions as a complete, playable experience without time or content limits, and it’s possible to reach full self-sufficiency. The full game is still in development; players who want to support continued development can purchase optional donation packs.
