Progression is driven by ranked systems: earn XP from kills, objectives, and challenges to climb the ranks and unlock new weapons, attachments, equipment, and vehicles. If you prefer PvE, several Survival modes pit you and teammates against endless waves of soldiers, helicopters, zombies, and other creatures - with worldwide leaderboards to track top runs.

Customization is a major focus. Over 200 weapons can be personalized with optics, lasers, grips, skins, and many other accessories, and characters and loadouts are fully adjustable. An in-game editor lets you create maps and missions, play them instantly with friends, and share or browse user-created content via the Workshop. The game is mod-friendly and supports custom multiplayer servers and clans, enabling community-driven play and competitive scenes.
