Saturnalia is a third-person horror adventure set in an ancient Sardinian village steeped in strange, local folklore. You switch between four playable characters across generations, each with their own abilities and perspective on a haunting ritual at the heart of the story. Exploration is largely unguided: the village is an elaborate maze that reconfigures itself, and you must piece together the narrative by investigating, solving environmental puzzles, and using items you find.

Puzzles are deeply integrated with the world and story rather than abstract brainteasers, and the game’s visuals and animations draw inspiration from stop-motion and rotoscoping techniques.
