Once Upon a Puppet is a 2.5D puzzle‑platformer set in a vivid, theatrical world where stagecraft and storytelling are the rules of play. You take on the role of Nieve, an exiled Stagehand, who wears a magical glove that lets her pull the strings of Drev, a lively Puppet bound to her by fate. Together they must climb from the Understage back to the Frontstage, restoring forgotten performances, uncovering dark secrets, and confronting a kingdom haunted by loss.

Gameplay blends classic platforming with puppet-inspired mechanics: manipulate Drev’s strings to control movement and solve inventive puzzles, rearrange props and backdrops to rebuild scenes, and re-enact plays to reveal the past. The world shifts between past and present across meticulously crafted stages, supported by stylized visuals, 2D cutscenes, and a rich theatrical soundtrack. Along the way you’ll meet a large ensemble cast with dozens of major and supporting characters and hundreds of lines of handcrafted dialogue.
